Natasha Joseph heads Investments at The State of Alpha — investment strategy, portfolio direction, and the discipline that shapes how capital moves through the platform. Her grounding in corporate finance and institutional investing runs through every mandate she leads, sharpened over years advising private capital, within family offices, and Deloitte’s advisory practice. She works closely with investors, founders and portfolio companies alike, translating strategy into structured outcomes.

As Head of Investments, she brings together private equity, financial modelling and investment analysis with a builder’s instinct — shaped in part by co-founding Alswamitra Botanicals, a venture built to support rural women entrepreneurs. Her work centres on financial modelling, investment analysis and internal strategy — building the frameworks that carry both corporate growth and social ventures forward, with an eye for value that balances profitability with purpose.

He sits close to investors, founders and ecosystem partners alike, translating opportunity into structure, while shaping how the firm is positioned and perceived across the markets it operates in.

As Head of Business, his grounding spans financial analysis, investment strategy and blockchain-based investment structures, with hands-on experience across financial modelling, valuation and fundraising. Prior to State of Alpha, he built his foundation in financial advisory — corporate finance, capital markets, and emerging technologies — a breadth that now underpins his approach to originating and structuring opportunity, building the firm’s presence, and expanding its network of relationships at scale.

Second-generation entrepreneur; Madabushi Narayanan Gosakan (Gosakan Narayanan), sole beneficiary of the family business Emmar, took up active management in 2004 and has been instrumental in the expansion and diversification of the family enterprise. The flagship banner was focused on providing turnkey solutions in the development and establishment of Capital Assets — spanning Power, Energy, Steel, Railways, Aerospace, Defence, and General Heavy Engineering. Emmar has over 400 turnkey capital assets established across India, South East Asia, and Africa.

In 2014, Gosakan Narayanan collaborated with a leading North American Asset Management company and developed a global scale of institutional networks in debt and equity structured solutions to provide capital market advisory and active investment management. He has since been instrumental in the rebranding and global repositioning of the house — ultimately co-founding State of Alpha alongside Mesrop Nerkararian.

Mesrop Nerkararian brings over 18 years in real estate advisory and broking. He manages the company’s reach to the global debt capital markets — hosting a massive network of institutional investors including Partners Group, BlackRock, CPPIB, and others, alongside global trading desks at JPMC, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, and other major banking and trading partners. Mesrop has developed a strong capital base across the firm’s global holdings — positioned as a global leader in institutional investments worldwide through an in-house range of bespoke investment structures, white and private label platforms, and acquisition companies.

He started his activities in renewables in the early 2000s in Asia — founding an advisory firm and developing and selling rooftop and utility-scale PV. He has advised and raised capital for in excess of 5 GW of renewable projects across all continents. An MBA graduate from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and holding a PhD in Economics from the University of Queensland, Mesrop brings and manages all relations with global debt and equity capital market partners.
