Strategy Framework

Core Strategies

The Limited Partner layer.

A Limited Partner layer of Equity Strategy Verticals that hold and administer market-driven portfolio companies through a range of Special Purpose Investment Vehicles, Special Purpose Acquisition Vehicles & Development Corporations for specific target markets. These SPICs and SPACs bring technological, operational-maintenance and sustainability structures to our core investments and acquisitions — working with a global range of technologists and hard asset managers across Power Generation, Energy (up & downstream), Urban Logistics (Rail, Railroad) and sectors such as Steel, Heavy Engineering, Services and Solutions.

Open Markets

Active & sector-agnostic.

Active Investment Strategies and Structured Solutions to the Open Markets and Core Strategies. While our Open Markets are typically sector-agnostic and catered to through Hedge Fund Strategies & Alternative Investment Funds managed under the Alpha banner, our Core Strategies are market-oriented and specific to a range of specialised markets we promote through Private Equity & Equity Strategies. Open Market strategies span solutions for Corporates, Sovereigns and Sovereign Bodies, alongside Active Direct Investments in Hard & Financial Assets, Portfolios and Derivatives.

Development of Infrastructure & Industrial Assets

Investing in the asset space through our Development-Management downstream company, funds are diverted to junior and senior positions of assets. Our underlying development-management company is strategised to develop infrastructure assets in Renewable Power Generation, Power Transmission & Distribution. Assets are established through a series of Special Purpose Vehicles held under ideology-driven Special Purpose Investment Companies (SPICs) — the SPICs manage the equity invested while the SPVs are structured to leverage for levered returns.

Strategic Positions of Ownership

A long-strategy module of our core design invests in globally leading companies with legacy in the development and management of long-term physical infrastructure and industry assets. As part of our Passive Direct structure, we strategise growth by investing in equity positions with leading Concessionaires, Developers, IPPs and Incubation Companies — targeting Corporations focused on developing infrastructure & industrial assets with concessions, off-take agreements and hybrid annuities that allow for a steady inflow of revenues.

Media & Content Infrastructure

Media forms a core pillar of our investment thesis — structured capital deployed into global production, distribution and content infrastructure. Alpha finances feature film, episodic and long-format production through structured production financing, bridge facilities and IP-backed capital structures, taking strategic positions in production houses, distribution rights and content libraries. Positions are engineered with clear waterfall mechanics and collateralised against underlying production assets, pre-sales and distribution agreements — allowing for downside-protected participation in an asset class that has historically demanded pure equity risk.

Experiential Estate

Real estate formulates a major market strategy of ours — but the lens is experiential rather than purely transactional. Our funds are designed to invest in assets where the experience itself carries the value: luxury resorts, hospitality-led retail, wellness and lifestyle destinations, and business environments built around guest and occupant experience. A sub-structure module invests in acquiring strategic land banks for leasing or development in markets spanning Infrastructure, Industry, Hospitality and Healthcare.

Deal Strategies

Deal Strategies I

Control & Acquisition Strategies

  1. Structure
Acquire multiple sub-scale operators within the same sector and consolidate into a single institutional platform.
    Applicable
Biomass plants, mid-sized renewable IPPs, regional agro-processors, industrial manufacturers.
    Value Logic
Emerging markets are fragmented; individual assets are too small to attract institutional capital. Aggregating 5–10 operators achieves procurement leverage, governance improvement, centralised reporting and financing efficiency. Valuation multiples expand as the platform becomes institutional-grade.
    Exit
Strategic sale to infrastructure fund or regional utility; recapitalisation by private equity.
  2. Structure
Facilitate acquisition of emerging-market assets by capital-rich international buyers, or vice versa.
    Applicable
Industrial modernisation, renewable expansion, infrastructure platform build-out.
    Value Logic
Valuation arbitrage between jurisdictions. Capital-rich regions face yield compression; capital-deficit markets offer higher growth and return. The platform manages regulatory, structuring and integration complexity.
    Exit
Regional expansion platform or strategic consolidation.
  3. Structure
Acquire a controlling stake in a cash-flow generative asset using disciplined debt layering.
    Applicable
Renewable energy platforms, rural infrastructure concessions, industrial plants with contracted revenues.
    Value Logic
Predictable EBITDA supports structured leverage. Optimising the capital stack reduces weighted average cost of capital, improves return on equity, and enhances equity IRR without excessive operational risk.
    Exit
Dividend recapitalisation or sale to a strategic consolidator.
  4. Structure
Facilitate acquisition of emerging-market assets by capital-rich international buyers, or vice versa.
    Applicable
Industrial modernisation, renewable expansion, infrastructure platform build-out.
    Value Logic
Valuation arbitrage between jurisdictions. Capital-rich regions face yield compression while capital-deficit markets offer higher growth and return; the platform manages regulatory, structuring and integration complexity.
    Exit
Regional expansion platform or strategic consolidation.

Deal Strategies II

Structured & Growth Strategies

  1. Structure
Acquire a strategic minority stake with board rights, downside protection and performance-linked incentives.
    Applicable
Expanding renewable IPPs, agricultural modernisation companies, infrastructure developers.
    Value Logic
Emerging-market founders often resist full control sales. Structured minority positions allow capital deployment while institutionalising governance and preparing the company for eventual exit or IPO.
    Exit
Strategic sale, buyback, or secondary transaction.
  2. Structure
Enter PPP or concession structures with a private equity or strategic co-investor.
    Applicable
Water projects, rural infrastructure, renewable energy concessions.
    Value Logic
Long-duration contracted revenue. Structured risk allocation reduces volatility; DFI participation lowers financing cost and enhances bankability.
    Exit
Infrastructure fund acquisition or yield platform integration.
  3. Structure
Replace inefficient local debt or equity with institutional capital.
    Applicable
Existing renewable or industrial operators with high-cost financing.
    Value Logic
Lower cost of capital improves free cash flow and enterprise value; institutional governance enhances credibility.
    Exit
    Strategic sale or growth expansion.
  4. Structure
Aggregate fragmented land holdings, structure a joint venture with an institutional developer, and arrange the capital stack.
    Applicable
Industrial parks, renewable corridors, logistics hubs, agro-processing zones.
    Value Logic
Raw land is undervalued due to fragmentation. Institutional packaging plus developer partnership creates development uplift while reducing sponsor burden.
    Exit
    Development exit or platform roll-up.
  5. Structure
Structured equity, convertible instruments, or mezzanine capital with control triggers.
    Applicable
Growth-stage infrastructure or industrial companies facing temporary liquidity constraints.
    Value Logic
High return with downside protection; control rights are triggered by underperformance.
    Exit
    Equity conversion and strategic sale.
